Thanksgiving was alright.

Plans were originally to catch a New Moon showing at 3:30pm and then head to Cracker Barrel immediately after leaving the theatre for Thanksgiving dinner with the family.

Plans changed though when sleep decided it wouldn't come to me. So we went to an earlier showing of New Moon. Then I came home and helped finish putting away fall decor and spent some time on the computer.

At 5:15pm, we got a call from my grandmother that she wanted to meet for dinner now instead of 6pm. We headed over to Cracker Barrel and it was obvious that my grandmother was in a bad mood. She ordered without waiting for us when she usually waits. Turns out that she worked for eight hours straight with no breaks at all that day. She's not used to working so long or without a break and she was very tired. She left after she finished eating even though the rest of the family was just starting to eat. I'm pretty sure she just wanted to get home so she could crash in bed.

The dinner was good, but it didn't feel like Thanksgiving dinner. I'm just used to it being at our house in a much more relaxed setting. I understand the issue of having to cook a large meal (and clean the house) one month after another, so just cooking for Christmas is less stress.

Anyway, I spent yesterday dragging all the Christmas decor out and setting most of it out. I still need to put the outside stuff up though, which I'll likely do tomorrow.

My plans today are to finish the wrapping of presents which I started Thursday. Plus, I really need to finish typing up my group case paper and finish the Powerpoint for it.

avpm - draco's totally awesome
So, I had my regular dentist cleaning today...

...and I had no cavities!

This is a very rare occurrence. I had no cavities and no work needs to be done until my next cleaning in six months.

Yippie!

Amazon has all four Doctor Who seasons on sale for $32.49 each. Considering they are normally $80 a piece, I really really want to get these. Too bad I don't have the money.

*cry*

I got my hair cut today - finally. It was getting way too bothersome and was past the point where it wanted to knot all the time. My hair is now at the length where it barely sweeps the shoulders.

Also, I'm almost halfway through the HP Fanfiction archive (well, for my search criteria). Smut FTW!

Time for bed!

So, I've skipped my last three classes.

On the other hand, I'm all caught up on my Excel work.

Eh, works for me.

*bangs head on desk*

So I just spent 12 hours pretty much non-stop working on a paper and presentation. I just finished it. It was due at midnight, so I already got points docked off for that, but at least it's done now. This is how little I care about classes now. I just make sure to pass.

Now I'm gonna go play a little WoW, read a little HP smut, and then collapse in bed.

al kitty
I just finished giving the kitties a bath. Needless to say I am a bit soaked. At least they smell nice now, though I'm sure that will be short-lived.

Good news! My mp3 player battery has decided it wants to work again, so I can hold off on purchasing a new one for a little while longer. Hurrah!

I plan to go watch Half-blood Price again tomorrow. It's made its way to the local discount theatre and I can't wait another 6 weeks to see it again.

slytherin - if I had feelings
Yay. I'm down to the 600s in my HP fanfiction reading. Still less than one-third of the way through, but progress is being made!

Classes are starting to kick my ass (or at least make me not be so lazy). I have two papers/projects that have been started on and I have tests to study for over the next two weeks.

I listed those things on eBay that I mentioned last post. All my procrastination caught up with me and I had to do a bunch of things all within a two-day period. Bleh.

Now, I go sleep. I have to wake up early to study for a test I'm taking in 14 hours. Wee.

lestat wrist bite
I've finally gotten around to posting some stuff for sale on Amazon and an LJ community. I also plan to relist some things on eBay tomorrow. Hopefully, this will bring in a few funds to pay for Christmas gifts.

Cooler weather has hit and it feels great. Too bad it's going to warm back up by mid-week. Hurry up, winter!

Now I'm going to go take some Tylenol (headache) and read me some HP smut.
